I'm a Clinical AI Fellow at Boston Health AI in Houston, where I deploy an AI clinical scribe on-site and help improve the product on the backend. Being in the clinics and in the code means I see problems where they happen and fix them at the source.
Before this, I worked at an early-stage retinal imaging startup, where I built datasets, labeling protocols, and models, and drafted the FDA regulatory strategy behind the product. That gave me a practical understanding of what it takes to bring a medical device to market.
My path into clinical technology started at Stanford, where I spent two years on ophthalmology research: app development, virtual reality software, image analysis, and database management. I led development of an app that remotely monitors visual acuity, and the paper from that project was published through Stanford. Most of what I know about building for clinical use, I learned there.
I'm a UC Davis graduate in Agricultural and Environmental Technology, with a minor in Technology Management.
